The amounts available range from £1,000 to £3,000,000.

Money is available for the following funding purposes: Buildings and Renovation, Business Growth, Business Innovation, Energy Efficiency, Overseas Markets Development, Recruit and Develop Staff and Starting a Business.

Money is available for the following business types: Academic, Medium Business, Micro Business, Research Organisation, Small Business and Start-ups.

Notification of intent: Transdisciplinary Research to Tackle Antimicrobial Resistance

This scheme is providing funding to undertake ambitious transdisciplinary research to tackle antimicrobial resistance.

Mada Assistive Tech Innovation Challenge

This challenge is seeking innovators to develop an advanced AI-driven assistive recommendation system that enhances the way individuals with disabilities access and utilize assistive technologies.

BridgeAI Innovation Exchange: Empowering AI Innovation

Innovate UK’s BridgeAI programme will invest in innovation projects to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) driven proof of concepts that address a business challenge or opportunity within one of the programme’s challenge holder organisations.

Sloan Science in Cinema Filmmaker Fellowship

This Fellowship aims to support films and projects that explore scientific or technological themes or characters. Each fellow will be connected to a science advisor with expertise in the subjects at the center of their screenplays, as well as leaders in the Bay Area’s science and technology communities, receive a cash grant, secure a residency at FilmHouse and benefit from SFFILM’s comprehensive and dynamic artist development programs.

Reel Impact (March 2025)

The scheme is seeking applications from Black led or owned production companies or organisations that are running existing, new and innovative projects who want to scale up, build sustainability or enhance their capacity to provide support, opportunities and inspiration for Black and Global Majority Talent.

AXA Startup Angel 2025

This competition aims to support entrepreneurs to launch their idea or take their business to the next level. The winner will receive £25,000 funding, dedicated mentoring and business insurance for a year.

Regional Talent Engines (May 2025)

The programme will provide a tailored programme of funding and support to aspiring engineering and technology entrepreneurs. The funding will support living and business support costs.

People’s Trust for Endangered Species – Conservation Insights Grants

This scheme aims to fund projects that will generate the scientific evidence that will facilitate the conservation of a species. Priority will be given to projects working on those species classified by the IUCN Red List as Endangered, Critically Endangered and Extinct in the wild. UK projects focused on a non-mammal species may apply.

Hemsworth Shop Improvement Grant Scheme

Funding is available towards the cost of improving the appearance and quality of shop units in Hemsworth.

Rising Star Award

This Award provides funding to emerging talent working in the print, paper,
packaging, publishing and graphics to invest in personal skills development and training
to help them grow and shine.
