There were 96 new schemes added last week with a total amount available of £819,652.

The amounts available range from £500 to £50,000.

Money is available for the following funding purposes: Buildings and Renovation, Business Growth, Business Innovation, Energy Efficiency, Purchasing Equipment, Recruit and Develop Staff, Starting a Business and Working Capital.

Money is available for the following business types: Large Business, Medium Business, Micro Business, Small Business and Start-ups.

Top 10 Funding Opportunities:

Leigh Park Vacant Shop Scheme

Businesses can apply for funding to transform empty shops in the Greywell Shopping Centre and Park Road in Leigh Park with a view to encouraging a wider offer to the community of Leigh Park.

March Shopfront Grant Scheme

Businesses can apply for funding towards the cost of external renovations or improvements to the front elevations of buildings. Eligible works can include, but are not limited to, repairs, repainting, signage and external lighting.

Rural Grant – Purchasing Capital Equipment

The scheme is providing capital funding to support new and existing rural businesses to develop new products and facilities that will be of wider benefit to the local economy, as well as supporting new and improved community infrastructure.

Rural Grant – Building Acquisition and Renovation

The scheme is providing capital funding to support new and existing rural businesses to develop new products and facilities that will be of wider benefit to the local economy, as well as supporting new and improved community infrastructure.

Activation and Community Engagement Fund – Building Acquisition and Renovation

The fund aims to support capital projects that will add local interest to the larger regeneration projects already underway. Eligible projects could include the refurbishment of vacant town centre units to attract alternative uses and increased arts and cultural activity within the town centre.

The Fund aims to help businesses to increase productivity, access new markets and develop new products/processes and services. The funding will support the procurement of external support and revenue items or activity to undertake research and development and innovation projects and the development/adoption of new processes, products and services.
