There were 42 new schemes added last week with a total amount available of £16,258,500.

The amounts available range from £500 to £10,000,000.

Money is available for the following funding purposes: Buildings and Renovation, Business Growth, Business Innovation, Overseas Markets Development, Property Development, Purchasing Equipment, Recruit and Develop Staff and Working Capital.

Money is available for the following business types: Academic, Large Business, Medium Business, Micro Business, Research Organisation and Small Business.

Experimental Medicine: Invited Stage Two Application

Researchers can apply for funding to investigate the causes, progression and treatment of human disease.

Innovation Loans Future Economy Competition – Round 22

The scheme is providing loans to support close to market innovative projects with strong commercial potential. Projects must lead to innovative new products, processes or services that are significantly ahead of others currently available, or propose an innovative use of existing products, processes or services.

ERC Starting Grants (October 2025)

The grants are designed to support excellent Principal Investigators at the career stage at which they are starting their own independent research team or programme. Private businesses can host private investigators and their teams.

Foundation Industries and Supply Chains Innovation Exchange

Individuals based at eligible research organisations can apply for funding to lead engaging the public with Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) supported science, technology or facilities.

Future Flight: Regional Demonstrator 2 – Industrial Research

This competition aims to support projects to demonstrate the commercial viability of regional drone, electric take off and landing (eVTOL) or zero emission conventional take off and landing (CTOL) aircraft operations or services in the UK.
