Money is available for the following funding purposes: Buildings and Renovation, Business Growth, Business Innovation, Energy Efficiency, Purchasing Equipment, Recruit and Develop Staff and Working Capital.

Money is available for the following business types: Academic, Medium Business, Micro Business, Research Organisation, Small Business and Start-ups.

Boosting Creative Startups for Disruptive Innovation

Projects supported under this topic should contribute to outcomes including, but not limited to, deepened knowledge of specific factors favouring the growth of creative startups, in particular those with potential for disruptive innovation and/or cross-sectorial innovation impacts, is made available and promoted to policymakers, investors, funding- and enterprise support bodies.

Mental Health Award: Using Physical Activity and Circadian-Based Interventions to Reduce Anxiety and Depression in Young People

This award is funding mechanistically informed trials of interventions for anxiety and depression in young people aged 10-18 years.

NBIC Funding Call: Industrial Challenge Response Fund

This call is seeking high quality project proposals from organisations with the expertise to investigate and exploit areas in which biofilms play a central role. Between £5,000 and £35,000 is available for feasibility studies, prototype testing, regulatory advice, IP support. Follow-on funding of up to £100,000 is available to help projects advance toward market readiness. Projects should be a collaboration between at least one NBIC research partner institution and at least one SME or third or public sector organisation.
