The amounts available range from £2,500 to £300,000.

Money is available for the following funding purposes: Buildings and Renovation, Business Growth, Business Innovation, Energy Efficiency, Purchasing Equipment, Recruit and Develop Staff and Starting a Business.

Money is available for the following business types: Academic, Medium Business, Micro Business, Research Organisation, Small Business and Start-ups.

UKRI Translation: MRC Impact Acceleration Awards

Research organisations can apply or single-step support in developing a new or repurposed medicine, medical device, diagnostic, or other medical product.

Collaborate with the UK Human Functional Genomics Initiative

Researchers can apply for an Academic and Industry Partnership award, which can be used to support feasibility, pilot or initial studies to provide preliminary experiments to explore ideas and generate initial data which could support the development of competitive collaborative grant proposals for longer term projects.
