There were 61 new schemes added last week with a total amount available of £3,005,750.

The amounts available range from £2,000 to £2,000,000.

Money is available for the following funding purposes: Buildings and Renovation, Business Growth, Business Innovation, Energy Efficiency, Overseas Markets Development, Property Development, Purchasing Equipment, Recruit and Develop Staff and Working Capital.

Money is available for the following business types: Academic, Large Business, Medium Business, Micro Business, Research Organisation and Small Business.

Top 10 Funding Opportunities:

Supporting Financing of Local Adaptation Actions with Combination of Public Funding and Private Financing

The results of the projects supported under this topic are expected to contribute to outcomes including, but not limited to, local climate adaptation actors, the financing sector, the public grant sector, and climate adaptation financing experience being brought to work together on making local adaptation actions financeable by combining public grant funding and private financing via bank loans and on overcoming the practical barriers on combining these and finding solutions, and specifically through demonstrating this with intermediated EIB adaptation lending.

Joint Demonstration of Solutions to Build Soil Resilience to Extreme Weather Events and Support Food Security

The results of the projects supported under this topic are expected to contribute to outcomes including, but not limited to, enhanced monitoring of soils at subnational level (e.g. regions and municipalities) leading to an overall improved soil resilience against extreme weather events, particularly in terms of soils’ capacity to withstand and recover from floods, droughts, heatwaves and broader temperature fluctuations.

Standardising and Supporting Climate Services for Climate Adaptation

The results of the projects supported under this topic are expected to contribute to outcomes including, but not limited to, the methodology for identifying, selecting and consolidating global and regional reference climate data sets and scenarios being advanced and their consistent use across the EU in relation to climate adaptation being supported.

Demonstrating Solutions to Protect and Preserve Cultural Heritage from the Impacts of Climate Change

The results of the projects supported under this topic are expected to contribute to outcomes including, but not limited to, innovative solutions for protecting and preserving cultural heritage from the impacts of climate change being demonstrated and made widely available for upscaling and deployment across the European Union and beyond.

Improving Climate Resilience of Navigable Inland Waterways, their Surroundings and Related Water Infrastructure

The results of the projects supported under this topic are expected to contribute to outcomes including, but not limited to, navigable inland waterways, their surroundings and related infrastructure being managed in a more integrated and sustainable manner across Europe and becoming more climate resilient.

Better Understanding and Attribution of Land and Ocean Carbon Sources and Sinks

The results of the project supported under this topic are expected to contribute to outcomes including, but not limited to, better understanding of oceanic carbon dioxide (CO2) sources and sinks, their drivers and dynamics under different climate scenarios, including their responses to human interventions.

National Adaptation Hubs – Bringing Together the National Level with the Engaged Regional and Local Levels (Multi-Level Governance)

The results of the projects supported under this topic are expected to contribute to outcomes including, but not limited to, the wide range of solutions tested and deployed in the context of the Adaptation Mission and the good practices that emerged in its Community of Practice being harvested, assessed, structured and systematised to support the implementation of the Mission.

Facilitating Implementation of Actionable Solutions for Climate Adaptation of Regions and Local Authorities

The results of the projects supported under this topic are expected to contribute to outcomes including, but not limited to, the wide range of solutions tested and deployed in the context of the Adaptation Mission and the good practices that emerged in its Community of Practice being harvested, assessed, structured and systematised to support the implementation of the Mission.

Bridging the Gap Between Disaster Risk Management and Climate Adaptation

The results of the projects supported under this topic are expected to contribute to outcomes including, but not limited to, the Climate Adaptation and Disaster Risk Management communities at European level being brought together to develop inter- and transdisciplinary methodological approaches, constructing and disseminating joint knowledge.

EIC Pathfinder Open 2026

The scheme is funding research to develop the scientific basis to underpin breakthrough technologies. Research teams can access grants of up to €4,000,000, €50,000 booster grants and coaching, mentoring and networking.
