The amounts available range from £500 to £5,000,000.

Money is available for the following funding purposes: Buildings and Renovation, Business Growth, Business Innovation, Energy Efficiency, Overseas Markets Development, Purchasing Equipment, Recruit and Develop Staff, Starting a Business and Working Capital.

Money is available for the following business types: Academic, Large Business, Medium Business, Micro Business, Research Organisation, Small Business and Start-ups.

Top 10 Funding Opportunities:

Tackling Bacterial and Fungal Antimicrobial Resistance in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia

This programme offers annual researcher-led funding opportunities for applied research to prevent, detect and respond to key global health security threats and challenges in low and middle income countries (LMICs) eligible for Official Development Assistance (ODA) in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. The theme of this funding opportunity is antimicrobial resistance, with a focus on bacterial and fungal pathogens on the World Health Organisation (WHO) priority lists.

Projects supported under this measure should improve or create new shore-based infrastructure that benefits the seafood industry and catching sector (commercial and recreational). Eligible projects include, but are not limited to, improving the infrastructure of fishing ports, auctions halls, landing sites and shelters, infrastructure to increase the quality, control and traceability of products and improvements to increase energy efficiency or reduce waste.
