The amounts available range from £500 to £10,000,000.

Money is available for the following funding purposes: Buildings and Renovation, Business Growth, Business Innovation, Energy Efficiency, Purchasing Equipment, Recruit and Develop Staff and Starting a Business.

Money is available for the following business types: Academic, Medium Business, Micro Business, Research Organisation, Small Business and Start-ups.

Top 10 Funding Opportunities:

UKRI Gambling Harms Research Coordination Centre (GHRCC)

This scheme is providing funding to coordinate and facilitate activity in the field of gambling harms research as part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI)’s Research Programme on Gambling (RPG).

Canada-UK NetworkPlus in Semiconductor Research

This scheme is providing funding to build a Canada-UK academic NetworkPlus in semiconductor research, share expertise in areas of joint interest and seed future projects.

Pilots of Long-Term Climate Impact Forest Monitoring Sites: Providing Temporally Resolved Ecosystem-Level Information on the Effects of Climatic Drivers on Forest Structure and Function (August 2025)

This call aims to set up pilots for long-term climate impact forest monitoring sites across Europe. Projects funded by the call should apply nowcasting approaches and link existing long-term assessments with the new measurements.

Gambling Harms Research and Innovation Partnerships

This scheme is providing funding to develop Gambling Harms Research and Innovation Partnerships. During phase one applicants must provide resource and support capacity across stakeholders to undertake partnership development and landscape evidence analysis required to design the phase two work programme.
