There were 53 new schemes added last week with a total amount available of £5,293,500.

The amounts available range from £1,000 to £4,320,000.

Money is available for the following funding purposes: Buildings and Renovation, Business Growth, Business Innovation, Energy Efficiency, Overseas Markets Development, Purchasing Equipment, Recruit and Develop Staff and Starting a Business.

Money is available for the following business types: Academic, Large Business, Medium Business, Micro Business, Research Organisation, Small Business and Start-ups.

Reimagining Circularity: Outline Stage

Research organisations are invited to develop a NetworkPlus which builds new capacity, strengthens community and enhances research to innovation capabilities focused on the circular economy in built environment, textiles or data and metrics.

Microbiome Engineering for Resilience and Performance

The Innovation Exchange Programme is helping Dstl to find solutions that will enhance the resilience and/or performance of UK Defence personnel using microbiome engineering. Innovators are invited to participate in a two-day sandpit event which aims to connect cutting-edge discovery research with innovative solution providers against a backdrop of Defence requirements.

EOSC Gravity Inter-Project Grants Open Call 1

This call aims to support projects that will expand the services offered through the EOSC Federation and to demonstrate a clear benefit for end users through either the development of scientific use cases that demonstrate the usefulness of the EOSC Federation or by piloting how new services can be added (“onboarded”) into one or more EOSC Nodes to be used by end users.

EOSC Gravity Preparatory Grants Open Call

This call aims to support projects that will support preparatory work for potential future Candidate EOSC Nodes, in alignment with the EOSC Federation Build-up process. The primary objective of the projects will be to prepare a project charter, supporting a future application for the creation of a Node.

This initiative aims to ease the financial pressure caused by Manchester’s Grassroots Music Venues transitioning to the new business rates tariffs in 2026.

Derbyshire Business Start-Up Grant Scheme – New Round

The scheme aims to support those wanting to set up their own business in the county. The scheme includes mentoring business and financial planning, marketing strategy support, signposting to other suitable sources of support and up to £10,000 grant funding. Additionally, smaller grants of up to £500 are available.

Tees Valley Export Fund – Overseas Markets Development

This scheme will fund the cost of revenue items that have a strong likelihood of helping a business start exporting, or of increasing/diversifying their current exports, such as attending trade events and/or purchase of trade stand equipment and adapting a website and/or marketing materials for audiences abroad.
