There were 92 new schemes added last week with a total amount available of £15,329,630.

The amounts available range from £380 to £3,000,000.

Money is available for the following funding purposes: Buildings and Renovation, Business Growth, Business Innovation, Energy Efficiency, Property Development, Purchasing Equipment, Recruit and Develop Staff and Working Capital.

Money is available for the following business types: Large Business, Medium Business, Micro Business, Small Business and Start-ups.

Teesside Flexible Investment Fund – Buying a Business

The fund is providing tailored funding packages, including equity and debt finance, to Teesside businesses to support a change of ownership through corporate acquisition, management buyout or management buy-in.

Teesside Flexible Investment Fund – Property Development

The fund is providing loans to Teesside businesses to support property development projects including new housing developments, new office, industrial and warehouse developments, refurbishment projects, phased development schemes and mixed use developments.

Northern Valleys Initiative

The fund aims to support businesses and projects that have the ability to increase prosperity in the region. The programme is focused on the infrastructure, digital connectivity and tourism sectors.

Teesside Flexible Investment Fund – Bidding for Contracts

The fund is providing short-term loans to Teesside businesses to help them bid for new contracts. The loans can be used to finance contract-related bonds including, but not limited to, advance payment guarantees, performance bonds and warranty bonds.

European Partnership on Animal Health and Welfare – Animal Health and Welfare and Society

This call will support social, economic, or ethical studies that examine how pathogens, novel technologies or improved animal welfare might impact farmers, fishers, aquaculture producers, consumers, or the production chain. The call will also support studies focusing on human behaviour with respect to biosecurity, perception of welfare and impacts on demand, and communications with farmers and producers to improve awareness and acknowledgement of animal health and welfare.

This competition aims to support collaborative development projects with ambitious solutions to address the challenges related to nutrient management in soils and water associated with agricultural livestock and crop production.

Delivering Operational Advantage via Improved Self-Sufficiency

This scheme is inviting proposals for novel technologies that will enable defence to move away from a model of sustaining at reach (the need for logistics resupply), to a model that is designed for self-sufficiency and enhanced operational energy.

This call for proposals aims to support the development of sustainable space-based services and applications that address challenges related to the decarbonisation of the maritime industry.
