New Grants Added This Week – 8th December 2024 to 15th December 2024
There were 24 new schemes added last week with a total amount available of £245,000.
The amounts available range from £1,000 to £50,000.
Money is available for the following funding purposes: Buildings and Renovation, Business Growth, Business Innovation, Energy Efficiency, Overseas Markets Development, Purchasing Equipment and Starting a Business.
Money is available for the following business types: Large Business, Medium Business, Micro Business, Research Organisation, Small Business and Start-ups.

Manufacturing Research and Development Grants (December 2024)
The scheme aims to encourage SMEs to invest in R&D in order to enable cutting-edge research and the development of highly skilled people needed to support UK manufacturing innovation and underpin continued and sustainable growth in Erewash.
Enhancing Passenger Experience – AI in Transport Competition
SMEs are invited to submit a use case proposal for an AI-driven transport solution that complements government objectives. Businesses accepted onto Phase One will receive up to £2,000 to develop their use case into an early-stage business case and pitch deck. Businesses accepted onto Phase Two will receive professional pitch training and will then pitch their solution to a panel of government representatives. Businesses accepted onto Phase Three will receive up to £13,000 to further refine and develop their business case and will also pitch their solution to a panel of senior transport leaders at Connected Places Catapult’s Summit event on 19 March 2025.
NNDecarb Business Grant Scheme (December 2024)
The scheme is providing funding to help businesses to increase energy efficiency, move to a low carbon economy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Eligible costs can include, but are not limited to, lighting and lighting controls, insulation and energy efficiency equipment.
Tees Valley Entrepreneurs – Starting a Business
This fully funded service aims to help residents facing barriers to self-employment to develop business and entrepreneurial skills through one-to-one advice and support. Participants may also be eligible for a grant to help them start or scale up their business. This scheme is fully funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
