- Heat Network Efficiency Scheme by Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy: This scheme aims to improve existing heat networks for enhanced efficiency and reduced carbon emissions for district heating and communal heating projects. Application deadline: 22nd March 2024.
2) Business Growth
Business growth funding covers the cost of business development activities such as launching new products or services, marketing costs and growth planning. Here’s some examples of upcoming deadlines for March.
- Create by Arts Council of Wales: This program offers grants up to £100,000 for Welsh arts organisations to develop and deliver high-quality arts experiences. Application deadline: 20th March 2024.
- Endangered Crafts Fund by The Heritage Crafts Association: This fund supports traditional crafts skills and businesses that are considered endangered with grants of up to £2,000. Application deadline: 22nd March 2024.
- Farming in Protected Landscapes Grants by Dorset National Landscape: This scheme provides a total funding pot of £200,000 for 2024/2025 for agricultural businesses within the Dorset National Landscape area to enhance sustainability and landscape character. Application deadline: 20th March 2024.
3) Business Innovation
Business innovation funding covers research and development project activities across various science, industry and creative sectors, here’s some examples of upcoming deadlines for March.
- Amplifying Imagination – AI in the Creative Industries by Digital Catapult: This program offers grants up to £50,000 for creative SMEs to explore and pilot new applications of Artificial Intelligence. Application deadline: 25th March 2024.
- Net-Zero Solutions Fund by University of Plymouth: This fund awards grants of up to £7,500 to businesses developing innovative solutions for achieving net-zero emissions. Application deadline: 27th March 2024.
4) Recruit and Develop Staff
Recruit and develop staff funding covers safeguarding existing jobs, creating new jobs and setting up training and skill development activities. Here’s some examples of upcoming deadlines for March.
- Apprenticeship Wage Subsidy Scheme by North Yorkshire Council: This scheme provides funding worth up to £2,000 for businesses hiring new Level 4 apprentices as part of a wage subsidy. Application deadline: 25th March 2024.
- ARU Internship Scheme by Anglia Ruskin University: This scheme offers funded internships to businesses of all sizes to access fresh talent and expertise within the East of England, covering up to 6 weeks wages of a 12 week internship. Application deadline: 22nd March 2024.
